Replace your water main or sewer line without destroying your yard, driveway, or landscaping. Red Rock Water Line's no-dig trenchless methods deliver a complete line replacement with minimal surface disruption across Salt Lake and Utah County.
The Methods
Not every trenchless method works for every situation. We assess your line, property, and soil before recommending the right approach.
A hydraulic bursting head pulls through the old pipe, fracturing it outward while simultaneously pulling new HDPE pipe into place. The most common trenchless method for full main line replacement. Requires only two small access excavations.
A resin-saturated liner is inserted into the existing pipe and cured in place, creating a new pipe within the old one. Best for pipes with isolated cracks or root intrusion where the host pipe still has structural integrity.
A pneumatic or hydraulic boring tool drives underground to create a new path for a replacement line. Ideal for replacing lines under driveways, concrete, or hardscaping without breaking the surface.
Benefits
Traditional open-cut replacement means a trench across your entire yard, often damaging landscaping, sprinkler systems, and driveways. Trenchless eliminates most of that — two small access holes and the job is done.
HDPE pipe used in pipe bursting has a lifespan of 50+ years, resists corrosion, and has no joints along the run — meaning fewer future failure points than traditional segmented pipe.
